In 2018 me and my co-founder Pavel came to a same conclusion: we don't care where the employees are physically located if the job is done. Since then we required only rookies to show up in our office space. Office space is a Coworking in a city where most of the team lives. Coworking helped us to cut office expenditures by 80% next day quarantine regime started.
Another innovation that has been working at has been the cost efficiency. We have never used human labour to fix image recognition results — our algorithms are automatic and instant.
These innovations helped us to be on а good track in April and May:
- +35% growth in processed images two consecutive months
- +20% growth in a monthly number of stores where our SaaS is being used.
- +15% of end-users that are using our application daily
In May 2020 we haven't cut staff due to the inner inefficiencies and more over we're actually hiring new account managers, ML engineers. In next months non-profitable businesses with low inner automation will be feeling bad. Those who enjoy update technological stack will expand.
